Minister Daniel P. Blount is a native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and moved to Allentown, PA at the age of 10 years old.  He was born March 26, 1955 to the proud parents of Julia P. Blount and the late Raymond A. Blount Sr.  Minister Blount is the proud father of ten children and seventeen grandchildren who love him very much. The minister loves to play basketball and tennis for recreation as well as reading God’s word.

            He graduated from Louise E. Dieruff High School, attended Criminology courses at Lehigh Community College and graduated from Cypress Bible College in East Texas.  He is currently a student at Liberty Bible Institute.

            Minister Blount accepted Jesus in 1979 and accepted his call to preach the gospel in 2006.  He was licensed by his Mentor and Pastor Benjamin T. Hailey, Sr., of Union Baptist church on December 10, 2009.

            He has a deep desire to please God by studying God’s word, prayer, and living right.  He has been the Armor Bearer to Pastor Hailey for several years.  He also teaches the Discipleship, and New members Christian Growth classes, Children Church, was the servant leader of the Men’s fellowship for two years, and has ministered to the men at the Rescue Mission in Allentown, PA for the last four years.

His passion is to minister the Gospel by preaching and teaching to see lives transformed.
